Button, button, who's got the button?

I've started putting links in the sidebar. Because I don't want to pay for a premium account with Blogrolling, and I only want to link to relevant sites, I am doing it manually. So I am putting pretty buttons as links. The problem? Most of the sites I want to link to don't have buttons.

So, would it be really weird of me to make buttons for those sites?

These are a few of my favorite things...

I have an account at Livejournal (noirbettie) and although I don't update the journal, I have my profile filled out. When Butterfly posted offering to make Paint drawings of people's interests as listed in their profiles, I jumped up and down and shouted and begged to participate. This is the result:
